In late March 2007, the free TNT Unicode Controls, originally created by Troy Wolbrink, turned commercial. They are no longer available for download from their old home, but it is still possible to download them from other Internet locations:

With Delphi 2007, the TTntOpenDialog and TTntSaveDialog do not work properlly on Windows Vista. A workaround is to set this global variable to False before invoking the dialogs:

Dialogs.UseLatestCommonDialogs := False;

• Is it legal to use the original free TNT Unicode Controls version? If in doubt, read the license file. Here is an excerpt: "Redistribution and use in binary forms, with or without modification, are permitted. Redistribution and use in source forms, with or without modification, are permitted provided that the redistributions of source code retain the above copyright."
• I can not open the ZIP files from archive.org. Are they broken? If the file has not been transfered in total, the central directory might be incomplete. Most archive software reports this as an error, even if no data has actually been lost. You can repair such broken ZIP files, for example with DiskInternal's free ZIP-Repair tool.
